It’s all about you—your story, your goals, your growth.

I believe your “mind, body, and spirit” all matter. That means we’ll talk about your whole life—not just one part. We’ll work “together” to make a plan that fits you. In our sessions, you’ll find a safe place to talk about what’s bothering you without fear of being judged. I’ll listen, support you, and give you tools to help you grow stronger.

About

We listen, act, and transform

Hi, I’m “Britney,” and “I help children 7+, adolescents, young adults and adults navigate life’s toughest transitions—like growing up, growing together, growing apart, or starting over whether that be physically, emotionally, relationally, or spiritually through personalized therapy that empowers healing, resilience, and real change —with clarity, confidence, and compassion. At BH Counseling Clinic, we create a safe space where healing is client-led, culturally sensitive, and faith-informed by request—so you can grow, overcome, and thrive.” A Little About Me I earned a Master’s degree in Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University. I also have an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Bible and Theology. I’ve worked with people going through all kinds of challenges like anxiety, ADHD, autism, self-esteem problems, relationship struggles, family changes, and career loss. I’ve also helped in crises and group programs from kids to adults. I bring to the field 10+ years of nonprofit and 9+ years of legal experience. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy reading, working out, volunteering, watching shows, writing, and spending time with my dogs, friends, and family. How Counseling Works I believe your mind, body, and spirit all matter. That means we’ll talk about your whole life—not just one part. We’ll work together to make a plan that fits you. In our sessions, you’ll find a safe place to talk about what’s bothering you without fear of being judged. I’ll listen, support you, and give you tools to help you grow stronger. We might explore your thoughts, feelings, or behaviors—and sometimes I may give you activities to try between sessions. If something isn’t working, you can always speak up. Counseling is your time, and I want it to help. What I Use in Counseling Each person is different, so I use different tools depending on what you need. I may use: Talking about your thoughts to help you feel better (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) Focusing on emotions to build stronger relationships (Emotion-Focused Therapy) Letting you lead the way while I support you (Person-Centered Therapy) Helping you rewrite your story (Narrative Therapy) We may also use journaling, questions, breathing exercises, and self-check-ins to help you along the way. Let’s take the next step together. Contact us today to schedule a free consultation.
